After Party

There won’t be a seating chart, speeches, or signature cocktails—but there will be BBQ, lawn games, dancing, and all the people we love.

We’ll be celebrating on Dave’s family property, surrounded by trees, open sky, and memories already rooted there. It’s the most “us” setting we could imagine—laid-back, joyful, and filled with good food and even better company.

Version of a Reception

Just the basics to help you get ready for a laid-back day of food, music, and memories in the making.

We’ve kept things simple and heartfelt—so whether you’re popping in for a plate or staying well into the evening, everything you need to know is just below.

The party starts at

4:00 pm

Arrive anytime after 4—we’ll have drinks, music, and lawn games ready.

Dinner will be served around 5:30 PM, with some dessert to follow.

Come early, stay late, or just pop in to say hi.

We’re gathering at Dave’s family home and backyard just outside of the East St. Paul/Birds Hill town.

The exact address and directions will be sent after RSVP.

Look for signs and friendly faces when you arrive!

Dress code?

Keep It Casual

This is a backyard kind of day—wear what makes you feel good.

No suits or heels needed—just your comfiest summer wear, picnic-approved and dance-floor-ready.

Don’t forget to bring something warm for when the stars come out.

We’ll have a few extra chairs, but feel free to bring your own.

Blankets, camp chairs, or picnic gear all work perfectly.

Just show up comfy and ready to relax.

This is an outdoor celebration, so plan accordingly.

Sunscreen, hats, light layers—it’s Manitoba, after all.

We’ll adapt as needed, and make the best of it either way.
